Loyalty that runs itself, on the UPI payments you already take.
Vattam is a customer loyalty and repeat-visit analytics service for small restaurants and food businesses in India. Your diners earn points automatically when they pay by UPI. Nobody installs an app. Your counter staff do nothing differently.
How it works
- You put up a Vattam QR code at the counter. It replaces your existing UPI QR sticker. Money still settles directly into your own bank account.
- A diner pays as normal using Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or their bank app. Nothing changes for them at the counter.
- Vattam recognises the payment and credits loyalty points to that diner automatically. There is no app to open and nothing for your staff to key in.
- At your chosen threshold the diner earns a reward — a cashback to the UPI account they paid from, or a voucher you honour in the shop. You decide.
- You see who is coming back. Repeat-visit rate, visit frequency, average spend, and whether the loyalty programme is actually paying for itself.
What you get
Automatic point collection
Points are credited from the UPI payment itself. No cards, no punch sheets, no app installs, no staff training.
Repeat-visit analytics
New versus returning diners, how often they return, what they spend, and how that changes month on month.
Configurable rewards
Set your own points rate, your own reward threshold, and your own reward — cashback, a free item, or a discount voucher.
A diner-facing web page
Diners check their points balance on a mobile web page. No app store, no download.
Who this is for
Single-outlet restaurants, tea shops, bakeries, cafés and small food chains in India that already accept UPI payments and want to understand and reward their regular customers.
Current status
Vattam is in active development and is currently running limited pilots with restaurants in Kerala. If you run a food business and want to take part, please get in touch.
